I’m Lee Cozens, Sports Mind Coach.

From winning my first amateur boxing contest at 11 years old & weighing just 33 kg! to now being a qualified IABA coach with one of Ireland’s leading boxing clubs, I understand the feelings and fears you need to overcome to enable you to step through the ropes, step on to the mat or enter the field of play.
I was first shown about using mind techniques such as mental imagery & guided visualizations as a 18 year old senior boxer. I didn’t understand it, use it or benefit from it, if only I knew then what I do know about mental toughness, my boxing career could have been so different!
But now, as one of Ireland’s leading sports performance mind coaches, working with amateur, professional & international athletes in a variety of sports, I can teach you the same latest cutting edge tools and techniques that has helped these athletes achieve All-Ireland & International medals.

Many parents fail to see the value sports provide our kids in preparing them for life, such as building confidence. Making commitment & following through with decisions. Understanding teamwork and building relationships in a competitive environment. Gaining respect for themselves and others. Dealing with fears. Learning how to win and succeed. And more importantly how to bounce back when things don’t go to plan.

As a parent myself i know first hand how well this training works, having used the same techniques with my own daughter as she overcame her own fears to accomplish winning 3 All-Ireland athletic medals.
